OpenController gives enterprise leaders a consolidated view of AI agent usage, model and infrastructure costs, and spend across developers, projects and agents.
NEW JERSEY, NJ, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lyzr, an agentic AI infrastructure company, announced the launch of OpenController, a platform designed to give enterprises visibility into how AI agents are being used across their organizations and what those agents cost to operate.
As enterprises deploy AI agents across engineering, operations, customer support, research and other functions, usage and cost data can be distributed across different models, cloud providers, agent frameworks and applications. OpenController provides a consolidated view of this activity, allowing enterprise leaders to see which agents are calling which models, where those models are deployed, and how associated usage translates into spend.
OpenController can discover and bring existing enterprise agents into a centralized environment through its discovery mode, regardless of the agent’s underlying application or use case. This allows organizations to gain visibility into agents already operating across their environment rather than requiring them to replace their existing systems.
The platform brings spend and quality information into a single dashboard. Enterprise leaders can use this information to understand spending by developers, project and agents, while also examining the models and infrastructure behind that usage. The resulting view is intended to help organizations identify where AI resources are being consumed, compare usage patterns, and make more informed decisions about how AI agents are deployed and managed.
“Enterprises need visibility into both what their agents are doing and what those agents cost,” said Siva Surendira, Founder and CEO of Lyzr. “OpenController brings that information into one view across agents, models and infrastructure.”
OpenController has been developed and tested with enterprise AI deployments
Lyzr developed OpenController initially to address the challenges it encountered within its own engineering and AI operations. Anthropic usage accounted for approximately $36,000 of the company’s $50,000 monthly AI tools budget, prompting the company to build a more granular way to understand where AI spend was being generated. The resulting system provided visibility at the developer, project, and agent levels and informed the development of OpenController.
The platform has since been piloted with enterprise organizations including Anaplan and Pepsi, where teams evaluated the ability to monitor AI agent activity and associated usage across multiple users and applications. The work with these organizations helped Lyzr test OpenController in environments where AI usage is distributed across teams, projects and different technology stacks.
The deployment focused on bringing information about agent activity, model usage and associated costs into a centralized view, giving teams a way to understand AI consumption across their environment.
OpenController is designed to provide this visibility without requiring enterprises to standardize on a single AI model, cloud provider or agent. By consolidating information from existing AI deployments, the platform is intended to help organizations understand their current AI environment as they expand the use of agents across business functions.
OpenController is available today for CTOs, CIOs, AI leaders and engineering teams seeking visibility into AI agent usage, costs and performance across their organizations.
