HYDERABAD, India, Sept. 10, 2026 — Varham Industries an India-based technology company founded in 2026, is developing situational awareness and intelligence technology for defense, safety and demanding operational environments. The company’s work follows nearly three years of research across India and Europe.

Founded by Vansh Mahajan, Paveen Nagekar and Neel Modi, Varham Industries began as a research effort focused on how people collect, interpret and act on information in complex environments. The team studied operational challenges and spoke with industry participants to identify practical gaps.

Situational awareness emerged as a recurring challenge. In rapidly changing environments, access to information is only part of the problem; users also need context to understand what is happening and respond in time. That research became the foundation for the company’s first technology platform.

Following its research and validation work, Varham Industries was accepted into Ignite by AaltoES, a startup program connected with Aalto University’s entrepreneurial ecosystem in Finland. The program allowed the team to continue engineering and product development.

The company’s first product concept is a situational-awareness helmet supported by an intelligence layer called BRAIN. The system is being developed to capture and process relevant information for personnel operating in demanding environments. A core team of six people has worked alongside the founders and technical contributors.

As development progressed, Varham Industries began receiving commercial interest from organizations in the technology and defense sector, including discussions around its product. The company also received an acquisition offer related to the product and software development.

Varham Industries has received a $500,000 investment commitment from investors across Europe and the United States. The company plans to expand technology development and operations across international markets.

Headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, Varham Industries is incubated at T-Hub and member of NVIDIA Inception program. The company is also exploring applications in safety, industrial and other environments where situational awareness can support decisions.

The founders’ work has crossed Indian and European technology ecosystems. Early research took place in India before the team continued product development in Finland through Ignite by AaltoES. The company has since returned its focus to Hyderabad with an international strategy.

Varham Industries is now focused on refining its intelligence capabilities, strengthening its technology and developing partnerships for real-world deployment. Its approach is centered on building dual-use technology from India for customers across multiple markets.
