SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — RemoFirst, an AI-native global Employer of Record platform operating in 185+ countries, has launched a new integration with Workday.
This integration creates a direct, automated connection between Workday and RemoFirst, syncing worker lifecycle events — including hires, profile updates, terminations, and compensation changes— directly into the RemoFirst platform.
The integration is one-way and inbound only (Workday → RemoFirst, with no write-back to Workday), meaning Workday remains the authoritative system of record at all times. The result is less manual work, fewer data inconsistencies, and a faster, more reliable global employment workflow.
“Workday is already the system of record for many of our enterprise customers,” said Nurasyl Serik, CEO and Co-founder of RemoFirst. “This integration means their people data flows directly into the RemoFirst platform without any manual re-entry. HR teams can continue to focus on their people, not their admin.”
Built for enterprise HR teams managing global teams
As companies grow internationally, keeping HR systems in sync becomes a significant operational challenge. The same data is entered multiple times, records fall out of sync, and teams spend valuable hours resolving discrepancies instead of focusing on high-impact work.
With this new integration, HR and People Ops leaders can:
- Connect Workday to RemoFirst directly from the integrations screen
- Automatically sync hires, updates, terminations, compensation changes, and time-off entries
- Help eliminate duplicate data entry and reduce the risk of errors across systems
- Trigger RemoFirst onboarding and offboarding workflows automatically as events occur in Workday
- Map specific Workday fields to RemoFirst attributes, with full control over what data comes through
The integration is especially valuable for companies using RemoFirst’s Employer of Record services to hire employees globally, helping ensure workforce data remains accurate and up to date across payroll, compliance, and onboarding workflows.
How it works
Workday acts as the single source of truth for all worker data. The integration uses an event-driven model for HCM events — such as hires, terminations, profile updates, and compensation changes — helping to ensure these are reflected in RemoFirst promptly as updates occur. To synchronize time-off data, RemoFirst uses a scheduled polling mechanism (every 12 hours), retrieving incremental updates from Workday APIs based on last-modified timestamps.
A manual “Sync Now” option is also available in the RemoFirst platform for teams that need on-demand updates. Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0, and data is transferred using a REST API over HTTPS — with SOAP/WWS used selectively where required fields are not available via REST. All data transfers are fully secured.
Clients can configure exactly which Workday fields map to RemoFirst — only explicitly approved fields are processed, giving HR teams full control over their data flow.
Simple to activate, no extra cost
RemoFirst built this integration to be straightforward to set up. Admins can activate it directly from the RemoFirst platform by following a guided configuration flow that covers authentication, talent mapping, and time-off sync preferences. There are no additional fees or lengthy implementation timelines.
“Our focus has always been making global hiring more accessible,” said Serik. “By integrating with the tools our customers already rely on, we’re removing friction and giving teams more confidence to hire and manage talent anywhere in the world.”
