Calgary Institute of Counselling Expands With New 21-Office Crowfoot Location

The expanded Northwest Calgary location is bringing psychologists and other healthcare professionals together to provide more connected support for clients.

Calgary Institute of Counselling has expanded with a new 21-office location in Crowfoot Village NW. The larger space gives more Calgarians access to counselling and additional healthcare services in one location.

The new office, located at Suite 340, 600 Crowfoot Crescent NW, marks an exciting period of growth for the Calgary-based counselling agency. Calgary Institute of Counselling will also continue operating its South Calgary location, allowing clients to access support on both sides of the city.

The larger Crowfoot space will provide room for a growing team of mental health and healthcare professionals. Plans for the location include practicum students, provisional psychologists, registered psychologists, a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner and endocrinologist.

With the expansion, Calgary Institute of Counselling can bring different types of support together and take a more connected approach to each client’s mental and physical health.

BRINGING DIFFERENT TYPES OF CARE TOGETHER
Mental health is influenced by many parts of a person’s life, including relationships, stress, major life changes and physical health. Calgary Institute of Counselling brings professionals from different areas of healthcare together, making it easier for clients to access support that fits their individual needs.

A client may initially come in looking for counselling and discover that another type of healthcare support could also be helpful. Having access to multiple professionals in one location makes those next steps easier and creates more opportunities for collaboration between providers.
