Mueon Raises $65M in Series A Funding to Scale its Cubelets™ Exponential Computing Platform
PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mueon Corporation, a semiconductor systems company building a new modular foundation for AI and hyperscale computing, today announced $65 million raised in a Series A. Maverick Silicon led the financing, with participation from Intel Capital, Geodesic Capital, Oregon Venture Fund, M-Ventures, Wellington Management, IQT, and Defined.

The new capital marks Mueon’s next phase of growth after emerging from stealth with a $15.5 million seed round in 2025, bringing capital raised to over $80M to date. The company is using the Series A funding to expand its engineering and operations teams, transition Cubelets™ from the platform development phase towards broader system validation and production readiness, and deepen its growing customer engagements.
“This financing gives us the scale to bring the next generation of compute and memory system-scale integration to market,” said Wilfred Gomes, co-founder and CEO of Mueon Corporation. “Mueon’s architecture is built to move past today’s rack-level constraints and deliver the kind of density the rest of the industry is only beginning to chart a path toward.”
Exponential™ Computing Platform Built for the System Scale Era
Mueon’s core architectural concept is Cubelets™: modular, three-dimensional (3D) compute + memory building blocks. Rather than optimizing each subsystem independently, Mueon is developing the platform around the data movement, power density, and deployment constraints that increasingly define AI infrastructure economics. Cubelets™ densify compute at the system level, reducing the physical distance data has to travel and the power cost that comes with moving it, without requiring the sprawl of a traditional server rack. The architecture treats packaging, interconnect, power, and thermals as first-class design variables rather than separate problems to solve after the fact, extending beyond any single accelerator technology.
Since its seed financing, Mueon has broadened the program across four execution tracks:
- Silicon and system architecture: Advancing the compute, memory, and interconnect architecture required to turn Cubelets™ into scalable 3D systems.
- Advanced integration: Developing packaging, power-delivery, and thermal approaches needed for much higher compute density without simply reproducing rack-level complexity at a smaller scale.
- Software and system orchestration: Building the software layer needed to make modular hardware usable through familiar AI frameworks and deployment workflows.
- Ecosystem validation: Working with technology, manufacturing and industry partners to validate components, integration choices and the path from prototype to production.
“The Mueon team combines deep expertise in the technologies that define modern data centers with the experience to deploy those technologies at system scale,” said Manish Muthal, Sr. Managing Director at Maverick Silicon.
As part of the financing, Manish Muthal will join Mueon’s board of directors alongside Intel Capital Managing Director Srini Ananth.
“Mueon is continuing to reimagine data-center design at the fundamental level,” said Srini Ananth, Managing Director at Intel Capital. “By bringing compute, memory, power delivery, and thermal management together into a single, integrated system, the team is building a path to scale AI infrastructure with better economics and efficiency, and this round reflects the engineering depth and ecosystem required to bring that vision to market.”
Why the Architecture Matters Now
Mueon is targeting up to 10X gains in power and cost efficiency within the same rack footprint, with the architecture designed to scale toward megawatt-class density as demand grows.
“Mueon’s Cubelets™ architecture creates new possibilities for partners such as d-Matrix,” said Sudeep Bhoja, Co-founder and CTO of d-Matrix. “Combined with in-memory compute, a modular system architecture can enable smaller, denser infrastructure tailored for AI workloads and allow us to experiment, optimize, and deploy at new scales.”
“Large-scale data centers have been constrained by power and cooling limits for years,” said Rohit Vidwans, Co-CEO of Ampere Computing, now part of SoftBank. “Mueon’s modular approach rethinks the physical building blocks of infrastructure. We are pleased to work with the Mueon team as it de-risks the technology on the path toward production.”
